If you’re a buyer gearing up for the market, you might be concerned that real estate transactions are being put on pause until the pandemic lessens. But actually, real estate is an essential service; if you were planning to buy a home, you still can! Here are the three things you must do to ensure you get the home you want most for the best deal possible:

1. Work with a trusted Realtor. Not only can our team find you the best deal, but we can also expand upon your inventory of choices. Right now, inventory is extremely tight, with buyers in some areas coming to us exasperated, stating that they can’t even find a home they’re interested in.

We spend a lot of time and energy locating inventory that might not even be available on the market yet. We have a huge database—over 25,000 people—that we stay in regular contact with; they often tip us off to homes coming up for sale so we can beat the competition. Exclusive access to more inventory means more choices for you as a buyer.

2. Work out the best deal. Finding a house is only part of the battle. From there, we have to structure a deal that works for you but also entices the seller. We have to get you closing costs if needed, and make sure your interests are represented every step of the way.

3. Get a home inspection from a qualified, experienced inspector. Once you're under contract, it’s important to get the home inspected for safety issues, defects, or needed repairs. There should be no surprises when you buy a home. My team and I can help you choose the inspector that’s right for you.

A great inspector should be able to interpret the results of the inspection, making sure that if there are issues, you understand the degree of their severity. Once we have the results, we will then go back and negotiate repairs and credits with the seller to get you the best deal—without question.

Here’s the bottom line: If you’re planning on purchasing a home this spring, make sure you’re working with a competent, caring Realtor like someone from our team. We can get you in front of additional inventory, hammer out the best deal, and handle the home inspection process.

If you need help finding your dream home, give us a call or send an email. My team and I promise to provide a first-class, hassle-free real estate experience. Remember: It’s not the market, it’s the marketing that makes the difference.
